We stayed for 16 days at Casa Antonio; our first impression of the villa was that it was very clean and well presented. Jose is a true gentleman and a pleasure to deal with; his wife Cristina has excellent English and deals with any more complex queries. The villa is a simple block format, but is well built and in excellent condition. Only the master bedroom and living area have air conditioning, but we stayed during a 30C period and the whole villa was chilled adequately by just the living area unit idling. The beds are very comfortable and there is plenty of space. The kitchen has everything you could ask for supplied, probably the best of any property we have stayed at. The pool, whilst relatively small, was fine for us and is a walled/gated area to protect children. There is a very large covered area, providing excellent shade from direct sun but still being warm enough to sit out. The position of the villa looks out across the valley of the Rio De Las Cuevas, with the eastern valley side being your view; it's wonderful to sit outside and watch the village life happening in front of you. The only possible quibble is the outside furniture could do with upgrading; only 2 sun loungers for up to 6 guests and the outdoor 2 seater & armchairs aren't great quality. Resolving this with better quality, comfortable outdoor furniture would absolutely complete this villa package. If we need to return to the area, we know where we will be looking to stay.

A very well equipped Casa for self catering, although we had quite a few meals at Venta Ortago. Great food.
The Casa is at the end of a lane so no passing traffic to spoil the peace and quiet.
Outdoors has plenty of seating, although so thought could be given to the little settee and chairs outside, not very comfortable for relaxing in the evening. All in all a lovely Casa for a great holiday.

How fab to be back again. Just what my husband and I needed. Relaxing in a villa in some of the most spectacular scenery around. Again Cristina on hand should you need help and Bar Ortaga very friendly and they remembered us from our last visit. Fab villa for a relaxing get away. Hopefully see you all soon.
Just got back from 2 weeks at Casa Antonio. Very spacious and inviting place to stay. Nice quiet area to stay and relax which is what we needed. Comares is very nice village to visit and as we sat at Casa Antonio we saw the fireworks display from Comares which as spectacular. Cristina our contact for our stay was always very helpful. The local bar 'Bar Ortega' was very friendly with lovely food and we had several meals there. Thank you to David and Jacqui for yet another fabulous villa. This is the 5th time booking with you and you keep getting us wonderful places to stay.
