Then we moved onto main course and invited a French Canadian guy called Thomas to come and help with the French translation of our website, he had been touring around France and Spain with his trusty bike, well I should really say bikes, as he was now on his fourth and has never spent more than 100 Euros on any of them.
Although many cyclists do arrive up in Comares from the city of Malaga, via the stunning and scenic route via Olias, it is a seriously hard climb and these keen sports men and on the odd occasion women are clad in Lycra, with expensive bikes and carry minimum supplies and virtually only energy drinks and water.
Thomas came with back packs and a basic bike and I have to say it was a great conversation starter, he is keen and diligent and although as per usual the incredible views can be distracting when you are trying to focus on admin work, he was a pleasure to have around.
Thanks Thomas for your help to date.
