The Malaga Car Museum first opened in 2010, it is set in a form Tobacco Factory with over 6,000 square metres.
The oldest car dates back to 1898 and the youngest was designed in 2011.
The museums director and collector of these fine cars is João Magalhães, a Portuguese man who started collecting the cars in the late 1940’s, by searching for them with this Dad at farm houses in Portugal.
There is a wonderful display of around 100 cars, all of which are in perfect condition, they are categorised in ages from the 1908 picnic car through to a splendid silver Aston Martin. Each car is accompanied by a mannequin dressed with clothes from that era. With makes such as Mercedes, Rolls Royce, Bentley, Jaguar and Ferrari there is plenty to appeal to everyone’s taste!
A great day out for young and old, it will take you about 2 hours to take in all the cars and fashion.
