The only other rentals on our website which have views as amazing as this Villa are Vine Ridge’s 3 smaller rentals.
The villa is light and airy downstairs and has a modern and well equipped kitchen and also dining area, with seating for 6.
The granite worktops are a pleasure to work on preparing local cuisine and the dishwasher takes away the effort of clearing up afterwards.
The large living room has 2 large comfy sofas and has generous windows and patio doors to help frame the vistas that stimulate you from all directions and the front terrace is a natural extension of this room and beckons you to sit outside and eat alfresco or simply sip wine and take in the natural surroundings and look down towards the Mediterranean.
Gallery
If you can tear yourself away from the views then back inside is UK TV and WiFi.
There is also a downstairs cloakroom and utility room which houses a washing machine.
Upstairs are 3 bedrooms, 1 twin and 2 doubles.
The twin bedroom has it’s own viewing balcony but the icing on the cake is the master bedroom with a gorgeous en-suite including a bath with a shower above.
Leading out from another set of patio doors is a large terrace which allows you to lie in bed and take in the mountain ranges opposite and acres of Olives, Almonds and various other local produce growing on the hillsides.
The other 2 bedrooms also share a shower room.
The beautiful blue tiled pool is 8 x 4 m with a 1.2m shallow end leading to a 2m deep end and corner steps, yet again the pool has been designed to catch the sun and views in equal measure.
There is plenty of terrace space for loungers and from this villa you can walk up to the amazing and unspoilt village of Comares in 30 minutes.
There is a charcoal BBQ.
Pete and Mandy who are lucky enough to own this lovely villa have a twin villa close by , but the pool is for your private use and if they are not in the UK they are a very easy going couple and will be on hand if you require help but would not impose themselves on you and your well earned holiday.
The added bonus of this villa is that Vine Ridge is also just below so if you have large groups we can handle numbers above the capacity of 6 this villa can hold and if you book early enough then Vine Ridge and Villa de Vista can sleep up to 13.
It is rare in life you would stay in a rental whose views outshine any photographs on a website but I guarantee this is one.

Fantastic two weeks spent in heavenly seclusion. Villa is stunning, clean, spacious & has everything you need & more. Pete was great.... on hand if needed with recommendations & so helpful with our extra night needed but kept himself to himself also. Location is just super - yes the road up first time is a little interesting but it’s so worth it! Surrounded by almond-trees, olive trees, mangos & vines, with stunning mountain views. Just lovely.
A great two weeks at the villa. Pete was really helpful with local advice and the area. Really nice villa, very clean and well equipped. Stunning views from the pool and terrace. Drive from road is interesting first time up but soon got use to it. Highly recommended
Great villa. Fabulous views. Clean and simple. Pool stunning and good for cooling off. Valley breeze and clever use of shade and the house’s design helped enjoy August heat. We walked into Comares for sightseeing, local food shop and bars as well as stunning views - well worth the walk.
Once you get used to the drive up the mountain, the views and the villa are both stunning. The pool is sparkling. The house is clean, modern, comfy and well equipped for a perfect home from home and total escape. I would say a car is a must for trips down to the supermarket, and days out to Nerja, Torre del Mar, Torremolinos, Benalmádena, all within an hour... water park, beach, bio park, crocodile park and caves are just some of the places to visit.
Thoroughly recommended holiday destination.
It's true. The photos do not do that view justice. The track to get there is slightly scary, but so worth it! Everyday the view changes and everyday you see something new! We very quickly relaxed into the peace and quiet. (Dogs = rural Andalucian life!) Peter and Mandy were about and cheerfully replaced the broken kettle on the same day, also buying us a teapot too! Beautifully clean and lots of space.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Vista for 2 weeks from 1st August 2017.
Views are as good as in photographs. Although warm for time of year the breeze is very welcome. Our teenage children enjoyed the pool and the WiFi. There are enough surrounding restaurants of good quality and value. Torre del Mar and Nerja are within easy reach. The last 1/2 mile drive is typical of the area and just requires 1st gear and concentration the 1st time after that it's absolutely fine. The beds were comfortable and villa clean and well enough equipped. All in all very relaxing.
Had a great time at Villa de Vista. What they said about the views is absolutely spot on - stunning. Weather was great - very HOT but the breeze coming up the valley most days was very welcome and cooling off in the pool was great.
Beautiful, clean villa and Pete was very welcoming and helpful.
Villa was adequately equiped but could have done with a DVD player, a few more kitchen utensils and crockery and more plugs and pillows in the bedrooms!
The drive up to the villa was steep and scary ! A less than confident driver may struggle although once you get to the top the views are amazing and we enjoyed chilling around the pool and walking through the Olive groves.
A beautiful villa for a great weeks holiday !
Having visited this area many times we found this villa to be the best we've stayed in. Directions to the villa were spot on and we were met by Peter the owner who showed us around and was on hand if needed during our stay. Access was via a typical mountain track but quite manageable in an ordinary car. The villa was simply stunning and well equipped with outrageous views. It was spotlessly clean! Although we are familiar with the area Peter took us out one evening to show a quicker off road route to Los Romanes. A most enjoyable holiday which we would highly recommend. Thank you Peter !
This is our second visit staying in a Vine Ridge villa and we're kicking ourselves for not doing the villa thing sooner! This time we stayed at Villa de Vista (or Petes Place as we affectionley know it now!). The villa is huge! 3 great sized bedrooms, the master has its own balcony and ensuite, there's also another shower/toilet upstairs and a downstairs wc. One of the other bedrooms has a juliet balcony again sharing the amazing views. The kitchen is great with everything you need, the living room has 2 sofas (one is a double sofa-bed), flat screen tv with a few English channels. Now to the main reasons to book this villa....the views are amazing! You can choose to sit downstairs on the balcony and enjoy a meal then lounge around the pool. Peter (who lives next-door most of the year) is a great guy and there if you need anything, we spent a couple of evenings with him as he knows the best places to eat (highly recommend El Charco and Table Mountain restaurants). There is a great little supermarket in nearby Benamargosa or you can get to the main shopping centre in Torre de Mar in around 30 minutes.
Access to the villa is over a rural track which is not as daunting as you may think, just go steady and you wont have a problem.
Petes Place is wonderful, we have already booked another Vine Ridge villa for September and will be booking Petes again for summer 2018.
WOW.... Awesome....
Never been to southern Spain before and what a great holiday experience.
The villa was immaculately clean, large, and just somewhere you wish you could retire to.
The owner met us and showed us around then used their own time to escort us to the local supermarket and escorted us along the old Roman road up to Comares for our first local dinner at a top quality, locally non tourist priced restaurant.
The views are spectacular day or night and we'll definitely be returning as its so quiet with the only neighbour being the owners.
Washing machine, dish washer, excellent wi fi connection all made the experience that bit more special.
5+ stars
