The Apartment is the biggest rental at Vine Ridge and is similar in style to the studio but has the added benefit of another room with a single bed, which is ideal for couples/friends wanting to sleep separately or for an extra adult.
The kitchen as with the studio is Spanish influenced with curtained units in a colourful style and has a fridge/freezer, 4 ring gas hob, microwave, Air-fryer, toaster, coffee machine and everything you would expect in regards to cutlery and utensils.
There is a great Breakfast bar with 2 stools, also a great area to work from if you have to!
There is a comfy sofa that has been positioned to soak up the incredible views that are beyond the 2 metre windows.
Opposite the sofa is a TV, a DVD player and also a Amazon firestick so you can get on to Netflix if you have an account. There are also plenty of books always at hand for you to read or refer to. Wi-fi is available.
The shower room has a large walk in mosaic tiled shower and WC and basin.
Outside of the Apartment are tables and chairs in your own area and rustic stairs leading up to the pool terrace.
We have added a Jacuzzi for use in the Autumn/Winter months.

The main difference between the studio and apartment is the single bedroom, which has a full size bed which is ideal for sleeping separately or for an extra adult.
Outside are a table, chairs, clothes airer and rustic steps leading up to the pool terrace.
The apartment and studio sit side by side and allow friends to book both whilst maintaining an element of independence within their own environment.
We have now added a Jacuzzi to Vine Ridge which is available all year round and is ideal for Autumn/Winter bookings when the temperature drops.
Location
The property is located up a track which is part concrete and part dirt. It is a 5 minute drive from the main road and there is no need for a 4 x 4 to access us.

It was so fantastic to return to the Apartment at Vine Ridge Retreat. We have been many times before and we love the peace, the comfort and the sublime mountain views from the window. Views which subtlety alter with the changing of the light. An occasional Eagle can be seen passing by the window as it drifts over the valley. Each morning we wake to see the sun rise from behind Maroma and shimmer on the sea visible at Torre del Mar. David and Jacqui have thought of everything we need to comfortably eat, drink and relax at the Apartment and there is often the occasional visit from one or both of the friendly dogs - Charlie or Bruno. If ever we need local advice on amenities or places to eat David is aĺways on hand to offer his experience. We also used Allincarhire for our hire car recommended by David which were very reasonably priced especially when emplpying the VRR voucher code! The peace, friendliness and amaxing views mean we always depart feeling revived and refreshed and resolved to be back very soon!
We had a fantastic stay at Vine Ridge. Amazing views - nice apartment - friendly owners - beautiful pool area - daily visit from Charlie and Bruno ! We would love to go back.
A brilliant week staying at Vine Ridge. The apartment was well equipped with everything we needed and the views are incredible. It had been 6-years since our last visit and we’ll definitely make sure it’s sooner before the next! Can’t recommend Vine Ridge enough! The drive up from Malaga is easy too.

We had an amazing time. David was the most attentive person, he was always aware of if we needed anything, he always helped us in everything and he has a few cute dogs that always kept us company. The views from the place were also great, we would definitely repeat again. We feel at home!
From planning, arrival, staying and departing, David has been involved, helpful and gave some fantastic advice about Spain and where to visit.
We had a quick 4 day visit visiting many historical places.
Vine Ridge Retreats is 15 mins from the A7 motorway. Plenty of supermarkets within easy reach. The one in Comeras was well stocked and well priced.
The Apartment was well thought out and equipped with everything we needed for a self-catering break.The facilities were perfect. The pool area and outside areas were spacious and well thought out with us wanting for nothing!
The views form the Apartment across the valley were breath-taking. Sunrises and sunsets were amazing.
We will be back!

A warm welcome by David and Jaquie. After fantastic days at Vine Ridge, where you can completely relax and enjoy the sun and the pool and jacuzzi, not to mention the fantastic view.
To reach Vine Ridge follow David's directions and don't rely on google maps in the mountains.
Had a cheeky last minute weeks holiday in the Vine Ridge apartment and we were absolutely blown away by the views across the valley. David and Jacqui have an incredible villa perched high up just beneath Comares with a stunning vista taking in the mountains and the valley all the way down to the coast. The apartment was cozy and well equipped with a lovely shower room and huge comfy bed. The pool and chill area is lovely and takes full advantage of the vista. The pool is a little cool for me in April but we took full advantage of the splendid jacuzzi. Whilst the winding graded track from the main road is narrow it was ok and we soon got used to just driving steadily up to the villa. Our friendly hosts were always around to advise or help but without being intrusive. Great spot to just chill out and unwind in nature but also handy for the beautiful Comares, being only a 10 minute drive. Also handy for nearby village/town markets and a trip to our favourite Spanish seaside town in Nerja. A great location and one we can’t wait to visit again soon!
David and Jackie were so so welcoming and helpful! We followed there directions carefully to get up the mountain and woke up the the most breathtaking view. This was one of the most beautiful places we have ever been and we definitely want to come back as soon as we can. There are a ton of small cute towns near the house that we spent time exploring and hiking too. Thank you David and Jackie for your hospitality, kindness, and all your amazing recommendations including Nerja which was our favorite place, you guys are great host!
David's place up in the hills is absolutely magic and the ideal place for everyone how wants to enjoy the beauty of the surrounding landscape. David was extremely kind, helpful and proactive.. Will be back for sure!
The accommodation is very cared for and clean, has everything and the views are spectacular. The treatment from David and Jacqui is unparalleled. He cares very much that you are comfortable, and they are always for everything you need. Also, they make good recommendations from the surrounding area.
The only catch I could get is the accessibility to the home as you have to go through a dirt road without a lot of security. But it's a normal thing in a house in the middle of the mountain.
For a quiet and relaxed stay is ideal. In addition, it has a Jacuzzi and swimming pool, which for summer is a big plus.
