Vine Ridge Studio

I spent a wonderful week at Vine Ridge.

The studio is sophisticated, very clean, bright and has everything I need for a comfortable stay.

Although I had 6 rooms at my disposal in the Alqueria before, I didn't miss anything thanks to the clever conception.

I didn't miss anything, except perhaps the outdoor kitchen for frying. But even there the Airfryer was a good substitute.

Unfortunately, the access road is a problem for me. Although I have known Andalusia for over 20 years and am used to a lot, I was afraid of it until the end, partly because my car only had very small rear-view mirrors and poor visibility to the rear.

But I was rewarded with a spectacular view and it was right outside my studio window. It was great cinema.

Unfortunately, David and Jacqui, who gave me a very warm welcome

were out of town shortly afterwards but on my next visit we will drink a bottle of wine together.

My return is firmly planned, but the date has not yet been set.

I recently had an absolutely great week in Vine Ridge by myself, husband at home! It is the most wonderful place to relax and switch off. The location is just perfect, the mountains breathtaking and the lovely village of Comares minutes away. Of course all this is complimented by the space that David and Jacqui have created. As soon as I walked in to the apartment there was a sense of calm and such attention to detail, there is literally everything you need for your time here. The surrounds and pool area are beautiful and the addition of Charlie and Bruno (the dogs) just added to my sense of well being and relaxation (being a dog lover!)
David and Jacqueline are so warm and so attentive in the nicest possible way, giving you space but always available.
I could write and write about Vine Ridge as I had just the best week. away from everything! Anyway thank you David and Jacqueline, I will be back.

Clare and I stayed at Vine Ridge retreats from the 14th to 29th. September. Only had one complaint - I had to come home. Absolutely loved our time there. The views and especially the sunrises were delightful. The pool , jacuzzi and patio area were lovely and so atmospheric at night with the lights on. Used the bbqs numbers of times during our stay. Such a lovely place to stand and cook. Most relaxing holiday I have ever had. Accommodation had everything you needed for your holiday. Hosts, Dave and Jacqui were very friendly and always available. Lovely dogs who were very.well behaved. I felt so relaxed going home. The coast is not far away I really hope to return to vine Ridge. Thank you so much for a lovely holiday. Richard and Clare

The welcome was warm and welcoming. The accommodation is clean and complete. You should not be afraid to arrive at the property with your car, but you also get used to it. In any case, you will be rewarded with a fantastic beautiful view. We had the pool and jacuzzi all to ourselves and if we had any questions David was there for us.

Myself and my two daughters spent two weeks in the stunning setting of the vine ridge retreats villas in July 2024. The villas are well kept and contain everything you need for a comfortable break. Shops are literally 15 minutes drive with major supermarkets 30 mins. The views are stunning, with early morning views nothing short of breath taking. If your looking for a peaceful break, I couldn't recommend Vine ridge enough.

The proud owners David & Jacqui Cullimore never ever fail to give us both an extremely enjoyable and relaxing holiday, surrounded by spectacular views basking in the most gorgeous sunshine.

The accommodation is extremely comfortable and everything has been very cleverly thought out to ensure you want for nothing as it is self catering.

Only a few steps away is David & Jacqui's very inviting pool along with jacuzzi, as well as a very pretty seating area if you want to cook off after a day by the pool.

If of course you wish to eat out or visit nearby area this is possible either on foot, or hire car or taxi. There are also supermarkets nearby for all your stocks and beverages.

David & Jacqui also have 3 very friendly dogs, Chico, Bruno & Charlie who are an absolute delight to have around during your stay, when you will see them now and again when the walk by to say 'hello'.

'Vine Ridge Retreats' is pretty easy to find, but if you need help David is only at the end of the phone to assist and guide you up to the top where they live. The journey is another fantastic experience and so so worth it once you reach your destination.

'Vine Ridge Retreats' is an outstanding destination to visit, and would in our opinions 'knock spots' if a lot of countries we have visited.

If you want total and utter relaxation 'Vine Ridge Retreats' is definitely the place to visit and stay. Just 1 hour away from Málaga airport. Quite simply perfect!🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

This is a fabulous place for a chilled holiday. High up in the mountains with fabulous views and a breeze. Jacqui & David made us very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The shaded area with sofas by the pool was a wonderful area to relax in the daytime with the and I loved the lighting at night / the hot tub was fun. Old Malaga is definitely worth a visit & compares retains its old world charm away from the tourist hoards with lovely bars and Resturants. The drive up to the apartments is not for the nervous driver - I was lucky my BIL drove because I could not have attempted the steep & windy track. However the views and chill time are worth it. I hope to return again.

This is about our 5th time staying at Vine Ridge. We couldn’t recommend staying here enough. If you want peace, relaxation, your own pool, lovely outdoor area to sit and relax in the shade, then this is the place for you. Both studio and apartment have everything you need to self cater including your own space to BBQ and everything is always neat, clean and tidy, also beds are comfy, very important. David and Jacqui are there to help at any time but also leave you alone if needed. Old Malaga town is lovely and Comares has shops to buy your food and drink. To stay here is excellent value for money and obviously we’ll be back.

The mountain view will leave you with an inexhaustible memory
The pool is a real plus even if we moved a lot because everything is nearby (nearby motorway networks and very good quality)

We had a lovely stay at Vine Ridge. David gave clear and helpful instructions to help us get to them and, although the accommodation is at the top of a steep track, we found the drive very doable and straightforward. David’s communication was excellent throughout and he was a very friendly and helpful host! The pool area was lovely and the mountain views were incredible. The accommodation had lots of amenities and helpful items for cooking etc. David and Jacqui’s friendly dogs also live on the property and kept us company throughout our stay. Thank you very much!
